Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 pkg king's hawaiian original sweet dinner rolls
1/2 lb deli ham shaved
4-5 slice swiss cheese
1 stick butter
1 1/2 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp worchestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp minced onion drid

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter and mix in mustard, sauce and onion.
  • 2. Cut the entire pack of rolls in half horizontally (keeping all top and bottom halves separately in tact). An electric knife works great.
  • 3. In a 9 X 13 pan, place bottom half of rolls and cover with ham, then cover ham with cheese.
  • 4. Cover ham and cheese stacks with top half of rolls. Cut rolls apart for 12 large servings or cut in half again for 24 small servings.
  • 5. Drizzle butter mixture over top of rolls, making sure onion is evenly distributed.
  • 6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 7. Remove from refrigerator, sprinkle with poppy seeds and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, then uncovered for 5 minutes. May be served warm or at room temperature.

These sandwiches were a waste of time and money. They were bland and tasteless.

I was disappointed with these sandwiches. The bread was dry and the ham was too salty.

I'm not a big fan of ham, but I love these sandwiches. The sweet Hawaiian rolls and the creamy cheese balance out the salty ham perfectly.
