Kid Friendly Punch image

My granddaughter wanted to have a Halloween/Birthday Party (her birthday is on Oct. 9th). My job was to make a punch for the party that was kid friendly. Well this punch was a huge hit! They loved it. I put gummy body parts, eye balls, ears, fingers, in my ice cube trays and froze them and then added them to my punch. It was...

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 4

24 gummy candies, like eyeballs, fingers, ears, worms, spiders, or bugs
1 gal tropical fruit punch, chilled
2 l lemon-lime soda, chilled
1 qt raspberry sherbert

Steps:

  • 1. Put your gummy candy in ice cube trays; add water and freeze. (I did mine the night before) I also had a candy tray that had pumpkins, bats, ghost and a skull in them and froze them too and added that to the punch.
  • 2. You will need at least a 7 quart punch bowl, combine the punch and the soda. Add the sherbert and your ice cubs. Serve
  • 3. Note: If you can not find raspberry sherbert then you can use the rainbow sherbert or a raspberry sherbert mix. I just prefer the raspberry sherbert in my punches.

I'm not a big fan of punch, but this one was actually really good! It was sweet and tangy, with just the right amount of fizz.
