Kickin Cajun Pasta Recipe by Tasty image

Here's what you need: heavy whipping cream, butter, Zatarains crawfish boil, rotini pasta, garlic, onion, boudin sausages, sharp cheddar cheese

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
1 stick butter
1 tablespoon Zatarains crawfish boil
16 oz rotini pasta
1 teaspoon garlic
½ onion, finely chopped
2 boudin sausages, chopped into 1/2 in (1.24 cm)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Cook rotini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a pan. Once melted, whisk in heavy whipping cream and add crawfish boil, garli, onions, and sausages.
  • Once the mixture becomes slightly creamy and thick, add cheese and cook until the cheese is melted.
  • Pour pasta into a large glass dish and add sauce on top, stirring into the pasta.
  • Broil for five minutes.
  • Serve warm.
