Yield 1 drink

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 of a lime, sliced
ice
4 parts Stolichnaya vanilla vodka
1 part key lime juice
1 count simple syrup
whipped cream
crushed graham crackers

Steps:

  • In a cocktail shaker, add the limes and top with a bit of ice. Muddle this until the limes are pretty much decimated. Fill the rest of the shaker with ice, add the vodka, key lime juice, and simple syrup. Top this mixture with whipped cream. Take a chilled cocktail glass and run a lime around the rim, then dip the rim in the crushed graham crackers. Now, I usually just pop a pint glass over the cocktail shaker to shake, but you could use just a regular lid that comes with the shaker. Shake this mix REALLY well, then strain into the chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my martini didn't turn out as good as I hoped. It was too watery.

This martini is a little too sour for my taste. I think I'll add a little more simple syrup next time.

I'm not a big fan of martinis, but this one is a winner. The key lime flavor is so unique and refreshing.

This martini is a great way to use up leftover key limes. I always have a few limes left over after making key lime pie, and this is the perfect way to use them up.
