I started making this for Thanksgiving and Christmas 26 years ago and they are the most requested dish every year even if we end up at someone else's house!

Steps:
- 1. Empty pork and beans in casserole pan. Remove fat chunks. You dont need them
- 2. Add in dark brown sugar and pancake surup
- 3. Cut bacon in 1 inch chunks and add to the beans
- 4. Slice onions and add
- 5. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. You want them to thicken but not dried out.
