Kathy's Banana Bread image

2 c sugar
1 c butter (two sticks)
4 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
6 bananas, smashed
1 c chopped nuts

Steps:

  • 1. Cream butter. Add sugar and cream together well.
  • 2. Beat eggs well in a separate bowl and add butter and sugar mixture; mix well. Sift flour, soda and salt together and add to wet mixture.
  • 3. Fold in mashed bananas and add nuts.
  • 4. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Test for doneness with toothpick. Makes 2 loaves.
