Juicy Peach Crisp image

A couple of summers ago a friend gave me some fragrant fresh peaches. Tossed with almond extract and topped with a yummy brown sugar topping, I developed a delicious dessert that begs for the company of vanilla ice cream!

I'm not sure why, but my crisp didn't brown on top. It was still tasty, but it wasn't as visually appealing as I would have liked.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my crisp turned out really dry. The peaches were tough and the topping was crumbly.

I thought this crisp was just okay. The peaches were a little too tart for my taste and the topping was a bit too sweet.

I've made this crisp several times now and it's always a winner. The only thing I do differently is add a little bit of cinnamon to the filling.

This peach crisp was absolutely delicious! The peaches were perfectly juicy and the crisp topping was just the right amount of sweet and crunchy. I will definitely be making this again.
