Steps:
- Layer salt, 1/2 cup plus 1/8 cup flour, and cocoa powder in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar. Wipe out the inside of the jar with a dry paper towel after adding the cocoa powder. Add brown sugar, white sugar, chocolate chips, vanilla chips, and walnuts, pressing each layer firmly in place. Seal the jar and attach a gift tag with baking instructions.
