Joe's Famous Michelada image

This is my husband's recipe for a michelada, a Mexican beer cocktail. He sampled many of them from almost all the Mexican restaurants here in town...and came up with his own way of making them. Now he doesn't even bother ordering them out anymore.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my michelada turned out really bland. I think I might have used the wrong kind of beer.

This michelada was a disappointment. The flavors didn't blend well together and it was way too salty.

The michelada was good, but I found it to be a bit too sour. I think I'll add less lime juice next time.

This michelada was a bit too spicy for me, but I still enjoyed it. I'll try making it again with less hot sauce next time.
