Jalapeno Rice image

This rice can be served as a side or with any frresh cooked beans or peas.

1 1/2 c long grain rice, uncooked
1 stick butter (salted) room temp.
1 can(s) chicken broth
1 can(s) mushroom pieces (7oz.) (drain juice)
1/3 bag(s) frozen seasoning mix (onions, b. peppers, celery)
1/3 jar(s) jalapeno peppers & juice
salt to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all the ingredients in a rice cooker. When cooked fluff with a fork and serve.
  • 2. This rice can be served as a side dish or with any type of fresh cooked beans or peas. May also be served with a gravy of choice.
