Jalapeno Popper Burgers image

This burger was really good. I questioned the lack of seasoning in the meat, but the jalapenos really are robust and make this burger pop with flavor. Each bite has a bit of heat from the jalapenos, the ranch dressing and the cheese mixture cool things down. The bacon on top is the perfect touch. This truly is a jalapeno...

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 - 3 jalapenos, chopped small
3 - 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
8 slice bacon, cooked
ranch dressing

Steps:

  • 1. Combine ground beef, jalapenos, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • 2. Form into 4 patties, grill or cook in skillet until done.
  • 3. Fry bacon.
  • 4. Combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese in food processor until mixed well.

I'm not sure why, but my burgers didn't turn out as juicy as I hoped. Maybe I cooked them for too long.

I'm not a big fan of jalapenos, but I still enjoyed these burgers. The cheese and bacon helped to balance out the heat.
