Jacked up Baked Beans image

Take ordinary canned beans and "Jack" them up. This is a "grown up" twist on baked beans. Great for a pot luck or cookout.

1 (31 ounce) can bush's baked beans
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans
1/2 cup strong coffee
1/2 cup jack daniels Bourbon
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar (optional)
3 tablespoons molasses
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
0.5 (8 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce (hickory)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  • Uncover and cook to desired consistency.
