1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more as needed

Spread cut sides with 2 tablespoons salsa verde. Put a few lettuce leaves on one piece of bread and arrange 2 ounces of tuna over lettuce. Top tuna with one egg, quartered. Season egg lightly with salt and pepper. Add sliced serrano chile, if using. Drizzle with a little more salsa verde, then press sandwich closed

This sandwich is so versatile! You can add any kind of vegetables or herbs that you like. I'm sure it would be delicious with some chopped avocado or fresh basil.

I used sun-dried tomatoes instead of capers, and it was amazing! The sun-dried tomatoes added a sweet and tangy flavor to the sandwich.

I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, so I used Greek yogurt instead. The sandwich was still delicious, and it was a lot healthier.

This sandwich was just okay. The tuna salad was a bit bland, and the bread was a bit too dry.

The sandwich was good, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. I think I would use less salt next time.

This sandwich was a bit too fishy for my taste. I think I would have preferred a different type of fish, like salmon or cod.
