Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a paring knife, score the core of each Brussels sprout half. Place the sprouts in a bowl. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the olive oil and garlic and stir to mix. Pour the butter mixture over the sprouts and toss until they are well coated. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Roast the Brussels sprouts until a knife easily pierces the center, 35 to 40 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately or at room temperature.
