Another freezer cooking success! I had it prepped and ready to place in the crockpot. I couldn't believe the great aroma that filled the kitchen. This chicken is SO flavorful so I thought I would remove the broth and reduce it in a pan with some slightly cooked and cubed white and sweet potatoes and a dash of EVOO and...

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 large chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
1/2 c italian salad dressing
1 c green pepper (chopped)
3/4 c onions (chopped)
1 tsp garlic powder
2 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into wedges)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients except the potatoes in a labeled, 1 gallon freezer bag (if freezing).
  • 2. If frozen, thaw overnight and pour the contents of the bag into slow cooker. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. After 6 hours of cooking, add the potato wedges.
