1 green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
1 fennel bulb, trimmed and thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my dish turned out bland. I think I might have forgotten to add some of the spices.

I had some trouble finding penne pasta, so I used macaroni instead. It worked out just fine.

This recipe was a bit too spicy for me, but I think that's because I used a hot sausage. Next time I'll use a mild sausage.
