Italian Meatballs With Raisins and Pine Nuts image

I haven't made these yet but I am intrigued by the ingredients. Please note that these meat balls should placed in a saucepan of your favorite tomato sauce and should simmer 1-2 hours after browning in skillet.

I found the meatballs to be a bit bland. I would recommend adding some more herbs and spices to the mixture.

These meatballs were a bit too dense for my taste. I think I would prefer a lighter, more airy meatball.

I was skeptical about the raisins and pine nuts, but I was pleasantly surprised. They added a nice sweetness and crunch to the meatballs.
