ITALIAN MEATBALLS image

This is my Grandmother's recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/3 c grated romano or parmesan cheese
1/2-1 c fresh bread crumbs
4-5 fresh springs parsely, chopped
4-5 fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 large eggs
1-2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/4 c cold water
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together well.
  • 2. Shape into balls and drop into sauce.
  • 3. You may also bake, in a 350° oven for 12-15 minutes or fry meatballs and then add to sauce.
