Italian Cream Cheese and Ricotta Cheesecake image

This is my grandmother's cheesecake recipe passed down to my entire family. It's the best. I can't believe I'm sharing it, but everyone needs to know how to make an authentic Italian cheesecake. It is creamy and not thick, which is why our family LOVES it! For best results, do NOT substitute any ingredients with low-fat unless you've made it before and want to experiment.

I'm not usually a fan of cheesecake, but this one is amazing! The crust is perfectly graham crackery and the filling is so creamy and smooth. I love the subtle hint of lemon in the filling. It's the perfect dessert for any occasion.

The cheesecake was a bit too dense for my liking. I prefer a lighter and fluffier cheesecake.

This cheesecake was a little too sweet for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with a less sugary crust.

I was a bit hesitant to try this cheesecake because I'm not a big fan of ricotta cheese. But I'm so glad I did! The ricotta cheese actually makes the cheesecake extra creamy and delicious. I will definitely be making this again.
