Irish Lamb Stew (or Beef) image

A hearty, stick-to-your-ribs Irish stew that's loaded with meat and veggies! I've been making this for years and we just love it! *If you don't care for lamb, you can always sub beef. Be sure to serve with a pint of green beer and some Irish Soda Bread for dunking! Slainte! ("Cheers" in Irish!) ~Photo by me~

Meh. This stew is nothing special. It's not bad, but it's not great either. I probably won't make it again.

This stew is a lifesaver! It's so easy to make, and it's always a hit with my family. I love that I can just throw all the ingredients in the slow cooker and forget about it. It's the perfect meal for a busy weeknight.

This recipe is a fail. I followed the instructions exactly, but the stew turned out watery and bland. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it palatable.

This stew is amazing! I love the combination of lamb, vegetables, and Guinness. It's so hearty and flavorful. I served it with crusty bread, and it was the perfect meal for a cold winter night.

Just okay. I've had better lamb stews. The meat was a bit tough, and the flavor was just so-so. I probably won't make this recipe again.

This recipe is a keeper! The stew turned out so flavorful and tender. I used lamb shoulder, and it cooked perfectly in the slow cooker. I served it with mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was a hit with my family.

This stew is a bit bland for my taste. I think it could use some more spices or herbs. I also found the lamb to be a bit tough. Overall, I was not impressed.

Easy to make and bursting with flavor! I used beef instead of lamb because that's what I had on hand, and it turned out great. I also added some carrots and parsnips to the stew, and they added a nice sweetness. Will definitely be making this again!

This stew is a true delight! The flavors are rich and complex, with the lamb and vegetables melding together perfectly. I especially enjoyed the addition of Guinness, which gave the stew a lovely depth of flavor. I served the stew over mashed potatoe
