Inside-Out Brussel Sprouts image

This is a new recipe that my Neice gave me to try. She has 6 children and they all love it, sounds good. I think I will try it for Meet & Eat at church on the last Wednesday night of the month.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 lb ground beef
1 1/2 c uncooked instant rice
1 onion (chopped)
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 - 10 oz. pkg frozen brussel sprouts
2 - 15 oz. can(s) tomato sauce
1 c water
1 tsp thyme, dried

Steps:

  • 1. Mix first 6 ingredents, take about 1/4 cup of mixture and form around frozen brussel sprout place in a baking dish, continue until all is used and mix tomato sauce, water & thyme and pour over meatballs and cover with tin foil and bake at 350 for 1 hr.
