ICING IN THE CAKE GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE image

I got this recipe from our local band foundation cookbook. One of my coworkers told me she had it before and how good it was. I made this and took it to a family get together and everyone wanted the recipe.

This cake was a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was still good. The cake was easy to make and the icing was delicious. I would recommend using a little more butter in the cake batter next time.

This cake was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still good. The cake was moist and flavorful, but the icing was a bit too rich for me. I would recommend using less sugar in the icing next time.
