Honey Appetizer Spareribs image

Need to take an appetizer to someone's home? Bring these baby's along and they'll be talking about you all night. You don;t even have to say where you got the recipe. Just tell me how good they were. ENJOY!

4-5 lb pork spareribs, 2 racks
2 Tbsp garlic powder
3/4 c honey
2 Tbsp cider vinegar
3/4 c soy sauce
3 clove garlic, crushed
1 bunch sliced green onion
1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Steps:

  • 1. Cut racks into individual ribs and season with garlic powder. Arrange in a foil lined and sprayed 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • 2. Cover with foil and bake at 350^ for 1 hour, or until very tender. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5 minutes.
  • 3. Remove from oven and drain ribs well- careful, there will be lots of steam under the foil. Pour homey mixture over spareribs and make sure all ribs get coated.
  • 4. Bake, uncovered, at 350^ for another hour. Baste well about every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and garnish with the green onions and sesame seeds.
