Homemade Baked Beans image

Ive made this recipe several times and its always a hit with the kids and family!:)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb dry navy beans
1 lb dry light red kidney
9 c water
2/3 c packed brown sugar
2/3 c honey
1 Tbsp dry mustard or prepared kind
1 large onion chopped
1/2 lb bacon chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Throw all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low for about 8 hrs or until beans are soft and tender and most liquid is absorbed.
