HERSHEY'S Dessert Nachos 3 Ways: Pretzel Variation image

Semi-Sweet chocolate chips, chopped pecans, sprinkles, and caramel topping are piled over pretzel chips in this fun dessert nachos recipe.

3 cups flat pretzel chips
1 (12 ounce) package HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 teaspoons shortening
ΒΌ cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon desired sprinkles
1 tablespoon HERSHEY'S Caramel Topping

Steps:

  • Arrange pretzels on a serving platter or shallow serving dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine 1 cup HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread or oil). Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 30 seconds; stir. Microwave at MEDIUM an additional 10 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chips are melted and smooth when stirred.
  • Drizzle chocolate mixture over pretzels on the platter. Sprinkle with remaining HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, pecans, and sprinkles. Drizzle with HERSHEY'S Caramel Ice Cream Topping if desired, and serve immediately.
