- 1. Combine Chocolate, butter, and boiling water in a bowl, stir until chocolate melts. Combine flour,sugar, salt and baking soda in large bowl. Gradually add chocolate mixture and beat well. Blend in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla, beat 1 minute at medium speed. Pour into a greased and cocoa'd (use cocoa instead of flour )9x13 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes cool and frost
