Hemp Corn Chips (Raw) image

I discovered this recipe some where on the net and decided to give it a try. These taste really good and are very sturdy and can pick up a big scoop of raw guacamole without breaking. I used soaked pepitas in mine instead of sunflower seeds and I halfed the recipe as I thought 175 chips were too much for just me and my DH. I also thawed the corn out before I pureed it as I thought it would be easier to process.

These chips were a complete disaster. They didn't stick together, they were too oily, and they tasted terrible.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my chips turned out really oily.

These chips were a bit too crunchy for my liking. I think I'll bake them for a shorter amount of time next time.

I'm not sure I like the flavor of hemp seeds. I think I'll try using a different type of seed next time.

These chips are a bit bland for my taste. I think I'll add some salt and pepper next time.

I had a little trouble getting the chips to stick together. I think I needed to use more water.

I love the combination of flavors in these chips. The hemp seeds add a nice nutty flavor, and the corn gives them a bit of sweetness.
