Heavenly Sweet Potato Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 cups sweet potatoes (3-4)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Step one: Preheat oven to 350 degrees, then boil, peel and quarter sweet potatoes
  • Step two: While sweet potatoes are boiling, combine last 4 ingredients (for topping), mixing until there are no more lumps exceeding 1/4 inch and set aside.
  • Step Three: When sweet potatoes are ready, combine first 6 ingredients in blender and pour into 9x9 casserole pan.
  • Step Four: Sprinkle topping mixture over the top of the sweet potato mixture in casserole dish.
  • Step Five: Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
  • Step Six: Serve warm and enjoy.
