Heavenly Hashbrowns for a crowd image

Can't go wrong with this recipe for potatoes. Like a loaded baked potato!

Categories     Potatoes

Time 1h45m

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 pkg shredded frozen hashbrown potatoes
1 pkg large package shredded cheddar cheese
1 large container sour cream
2 can(s) cream of celery soup
2 stick butter, melted
1 pkg real bacon bits
3 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients in a super duper large bowl. May need a strong guy to help. Put in lasagna pan or large baking dish and bake at 350(about an hour and a half) until top and sides get nice and brown and hot in the middle.
  • 2. You can always cut the recipe in half...if I'm having about 15-20 people over, there aren't any leftovers. You can also add chopped green onion or more bacon bits if you like. I prefer to add more shredded cheese than the large package.

These hashbrowns were a bit too crispy for my taste. I would cook them for a shorter amount of time next time.

These hashbrowns were easy to make and turned out great! I used a non-stick skillet and they didn't stick at all. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted and gooey. I'll definitely be making these again.
