Hearty Tuna Melts image

Number Of Ingredients 8

6.625 oz tuna, white solid premium in water, drained
1/3 c mayonnaise, fat-free
1/2 c chopped celery
1/3 chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp ripe olives, cut up
1/4 tsp dried thyme
6 slice dark rye bread
6 slice fat-free pasteurized cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350.
  • 2. Combine tuna, mayonnaise, celery, green pepper, olives and thyme; mix lightly.
  • 3. For each sandwich, top bread slice wtih 1/4 cup tuna mixture; cover with slice of cheese.
  • 4. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or broil until cheese melts.
