Hawaiian Fried Rice image

A co-worker of mine shared his recipe with me and it is the best fried rice I have ever made. I make homemade potstickers and always have extra pork filling so i use that for the sausage in the meat choices. Also used some andoui (sp) and it was awesome, too. Hope you enjoy this! Had to do some guessing on the measurements,...

I'm not a fan of ham, so I used bacon instead. It was still really good.

I'm allergic to pineapple, so I substituted mango. It was still delicious!

This recipe is a great base, but I like to add some extra vegetables and spices to make it my own.

I followed the recipe exactly and the rice came out mushy. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

This recipe was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I think that's because I used canned pineapple. I'll try it again with fresh pineapple next time.
