Time 1h

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 lb frozen hash browns
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 c chopped onions
2 c grated sharp american cheese
1/2 c butter
1 pt sour cream
1 can(s) condensed cream of chicken soup

Steps:

  • 1. Thaw Potatoes
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, add Thawed Potatoes, add salt, pepper, onion, and cheese. Mix together
  • 3. Melt butter, add sour cream and soup. It will make a nice creamy mix.
  • 4. Pour cream mix over potatoe mixture. Mix well. I find that it is much easier to mix using my hands than using a big spoon.
  • 5. Put in a 3-quart buttered casserole dish
  • 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes

These hashbrowns were a bit too cheesy for my taste, but they were still good.

These hashbrowns were a bit bland for my taste. I think I would have liked them better if I had added some more salt and pepper.

I'm not a big fan of hashbrowns, but I really enjoyed these. They were cheesy and flavorful, and the crispy topping was a nice touch.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my hashbrowns didn't turn out as crispy as I would have liked. I think I might have needed to cook them for a bit longer.

I was a bit skeptical about this recipe at first, but I'm so glad I tried it. The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The cheese sauce was also perfect.
