Time 15m

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 2

6 eggs
water

Steps:

  • Use a pin or needle to poke a hole in the broad end of each egg. Place each egg on a spoon or ladle and lower into a small saucepan of gently boiling water (enough water to cover eggs).
  • Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. I think 12 minutes is perfect.
  • To remove shell, plunge into cold running water for 1 minute.
  • Remove the peel gently.

The eggs were a little bland. I think I'll add some salt to the water next time.

These eggs were a bit overcooked for my taste, but they were still good.

I love that this recipe is so simple and straightforward. I also appreciate the tip about adding salt to the water, which helps to prevent the shells from cracking.

These hard-boiled eggs turned out perfectly! The shells peeled off easily and the yolks were cooked through but still had a slight creaminess to them. I used them to make deviled eggs and they were a hit at my party.
