1 lb hot sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Velveeta
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 loaves of pumpernickel

Steps:

  • Brown the meats and drain well. Cube cheese, add to meat stirring on low until melted. Mix in spices. Spread on bread slices and place on cookie sheets. Broil at 400' for 3 minutes and serve hot. Or once frozen on cookie sheets place in zip lock bag and use from freezer as needed. If frozen bake for 5 min.
