From really old cookbook. Old way of doing sandwiches in hot dog buns. They used to freeze these and pull them out as needed. You can grind filling in a food processor.

Steps:
- Grind ham, cheese, onion, and pickle.
- Add enough mayonnaise to moisten, and some pickle juice.
- Spread on buns put under broiler until cheese starts to bubble, 5 minutes.
- I have seen these wrapped in foil paper and baked. They freeze these and bake them; recipe said 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes or until cheese melts.
