This is a Japanese dish that I ate when I was in Japan.

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 lb ground beef (85/15)
1 clove garlic (minced) or you can use powdered garlic
1/2 green onion
1 Tbsp mirin
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 c panko bread crumbs
any other veggies you like
CURRY
golden curry (follow box directions)

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven at 400. In a bowl, mix the meat, garlic and green onion. Then add the the mirin, soy sauce, egg and mix. Then add the panko bread crumbs last. Mix well. Form in any shape and form. I usually form mine in about 1" - 1.5". Depending on how big you make them, 1/2 lbs will serve 1-2 people.
  • 2. Place it in a pan and sear both sides, then finish it in the oven for about 10 min or until throughly cooked.
  • 3. For Curry, I use "Golden Curry". You can buy it at the store. Follow the directions on the box. [OPTIONAL] I add unsweetened apple sauce for an apple flavor. I also like mine spicy, if you do too, then you can add a pinch of paprika.

Overall, this is a good recipe for a quick and easy weeknight meal. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new way to use up leftover hamburger.

This recipe is a bit too time-consuming for a weeknight meal. I would recommend using pre-cooked hamburger patties to save time.

The curry sauce was a bit too thick for my liking. I would recommend adding some more liquid, such as water or broth.

This recipe is a bit bland for my taste. I would recommend adding some additional spices, such as cumin or chili powder.

I wasn't sure how the hamburger and curry would go together, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors complement each other really well.

I love the addition of the peas and carrots to this curry. It adds a nice touch of sweetness and crunch.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover hamburger. I had some leftover from making hamburgers the other night, and this was the perfect way to use it up.

I made this hamburger curry last night and it was a hit with my family! The curry sauce was flavorful and creamy, and the hamburger was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be making this again.
