HAM, GREEN BEANS & POTATOES image

This recipe is very similar to one my mother used to make and that I still make a few times a year, only I use smoked sausage instead of ham. This looks yummy and makes for a nice change. Recipe & photo: stockpilingmoms.com

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 lb ham, cut into 1-inch pieces or cubed
1 lb fresh green beans, tips cut off
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • 2. Serve with hot rolls and butter.
