With cooked Potatoes and Ham in a casserole dish, topped with cheese sauce; how can you go wrong! I cooked a huge Ham for Christmas, cut it up in small chunks and froze it in 2 cups amounts in freezer bags. I just pull out a bag when I want a casserole with Ham or for any reason. Number Of Ingredients 9

6 potatoes, peeled, diced, and cooked
1/2 c butter
1/2 c flour
4 c milk
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3 c shredded cheddar cheese
3 c cubed ham
6 slice bread

Steps:

  • 1. In a large sauce pan melt butter and wisk in flour until all lumps are gone.
  • 2. Slowly wisk in milk. Cook until thick like a sauce stirring continuously.
  • 3. Add cheese, salt, and pepper. Put cooked potatoes and ham in a large casserole dish and top with cheese sauce.
  • 4. Break bread into thick crumbs and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes until it gets nice and crispy on top.
