Guinness Pub Pound Cake image

This pound cake is fantastic served warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and homemade caramel sauce. Of course the alcohol burns out, but there is a slight flavor of Guinness Stout to the cake that makes it yummy!

I followed the recipe exactly, but my cake didn't turn out as well as I expected. It was a bit dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I'll try again another time.

This cake was a bit too dense for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think I would have liked it more if it was a little lighter and fluffier. Overall, it's a good recipe, but I might try a different one next time.
