Grilled Italian Burgers image

This great variation on grilled burgers is a bit on the Italian side!

1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons capers, drained
2 eggs
2 tablespoons kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup Italian bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate.
  • Combine the beef, capers, eggs, olives, garlic powder, oregano, feta cheese, and bread crumbs in a bowl. Divide and form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Cook burgers on preheated grill about 6 minutes, turning once, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), or to desired doneness.
