Green Salad with Raspberry Maple Dressing image

Had a salad similar to this one in a restaurant years ago. Came home and experimented and came up with this.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 c raspberry vinegar
2 Tbsp maple syrup
2/3 c vegetable oil
desired lettuce
1 small purple onion, sliced into rings
1 c crumbled blue cheese
1/4 c pine nuts or pecans, can toast

Steps:

  • 1. Combine vinegar and syrup, gradually add oil, stirring with a wire whisk. Set dressing aside. Combine lettuce and onion and arrange on salad plates. Sprinkle with blue cheese and nuts, drizzle with dressing.
