Green Grape Delight image

This is a very old recipe, about 100 years. The combination of garlic and grapes sounds strange, I know, but try it. It's absolutely fabulous.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 1/2 dashes garlic powder (or rub bowl well with garlic clove)
2 -3 cups green grapes, halved
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in grapes and nuts.
  • Chill thouroughly, about 2 hours.
  • Serve as a salad on lettuce leaves.
