Steps:
- 1. Wash beans and remove the strings. Cut the beans into 1 1/2 inch pieces; set aside.
- 2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in the skillet. Crumble the bacon, and set aside.
- 3. Saute onion and celery in drippings until tender, Add the green beansm tomato, salt, oregano, and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until the beans are tender, Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
