This dish is so versatile. I've made it with different types of beans, vegetables, and even different kinds of sauce.

I'm a vegetarian, but I still want to try this recipe. Can I use tofu or tempeh instead of bacon?

This recipe is a little too spicy for my taste. Next time I'll use less cayenne pepper.

I'm allergic to tomatoes. Can I substitute another vegetable, like zucchini or bell peppers?

I thought this recipe was just okay. The beans were a little tough and the sauce was too salty.

Green beans Provencal was a big disappointment. The beans were overcooked and the sauce was bland. I won't be making this again.

Not bad for a weeknight meal. I used frozen green beans and it still turned out well. A little bland, but salt and pepper fixed that.
