Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can flaky Grands biscuits, or any refrigerated biscuits
2 to 3 cups Cheddar cheese or Colby cheese, shredded
1 cup milk
Pre-cooked cubed ham, sliced ham, sausage patties or ground sausage
10 eggs
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooking spray

Steps:

  • Brown the sausage, or cube ham ready for the casserole. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Stir in the cooked sausage or cubed ham if using along with the cheese. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish. If using ham slices or sausage patties, lay them across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Cut canned biscuits into quarters and fold into the egg mixture. Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish and bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes or until the biscuits are nicely browned and the eggs set. Allow to cool a few minutes before cutting.

The instructions are unclear. It doesn't say how long to bake the casserole for.

This recipe is missing some key ingredients. It doesn't say how much sausage or cheese to use.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my casserole turned out a complete mess. The biscuits were burnt and the sausage and cheese were all over the place.

This casserole was a lot of work and it wasn't worth it. The biscuits were tough and the sausage and cheese were greasy.

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out bland. I think I would add more spices next time.

This casserole was a little too dry for my taste. I think I would add some more milk or cream next time.

I'm not a huge fan of breakfast casseroles, but this one was actually really good. The biscuits were fluffy and the sausage and cheese were perfectly seasoned.
