Grandmama's Strawberry Pie image

I've tried several strawberry pie recipes on this website, but my kids keep telling me "Grandmama's is better." Her copy of this recipe calls it "Miss Kay's Favorite Strawberry Pie" from Burris Farm Market. The kids said they could tell I'd used Grandmama's recipe when I made this.

This pie was a disaster! The crust was soggy and the filling was runny. I don't think I'll be trying this recipe again.

The crust on this pie was a bit dry. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

This pie was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll use less sugar next time.

I'm not a big fan of strawberry pie, but this one is pretty good. The crust is especially good.

This strawberry pie is a classic for a reason! The filling is bursting with flavor and the crust is flaky and golden brown. I added a dollop of whipped cream on top and it was heavenly.
