Grand Marnier French Toast Marianted Overnight image

My mother's neighbor used to make this for special events. It is incredibly tasty and very easy. It looks pretty sprinkled with a little powdered sugar! This needs to sit overnight and cook time does not reflect this.

This recipe is way too sweet for my taste. I think I'll reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not sure if I like the idea of marinating the bread overnight. It seems like it would make the French toast too soggy.

This recipe seems a bit too complicated for me. Is there a simpler French toast recipe that you can recommend?

I would love to try this recipe, but I don't have any Grand Marnier. Can I substitute another orange liqueur?

I'm not a big fan of Grand Marnier, but I still enjoyed this recipe. The orange flavor is not overpowering and the French toast is still very delicious.

I've tried many French toast recipes, but this one is by far the best. The orange liqueur adds a subtle sweetness and zest that takes it to the next level.
