Golden Puff image

This is the best brunch recipe! Everyone will wonder how you did it. It comes out of the oven golden and puffy; make sure people are at the table to admire it. I found this recipe way back in 1965 in a magazine and have been making it since. You can add chopped ham, chopped onions to your egg mixture, but this was the original back then. Try our your favourite cheese.

These puffs are a little too sweet for my taste, but they're still good. I think I'll try making them with a different type of filling next time.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my puffs didn't rise very much. They were still tasty, but they didn't look as impressive as the ones in the pictures.

I'm not a fan of cream cheese, so I used a different type of filling. I think it turned out even better than the original recipe.

I thought the filling was a little bland. I added some garlic and herbs to it, and that helped a lot.

Not sure what I did wrong, but my puffs didn't come out crispy at all. They were more like soggy dough balls.

The puffs were a little too brown for my taste, but the flavor was still good. I'll try baking them at a lower temperature next time.

I made a few substitutions based on what I had on hand, and it turned out great! I used almond flour instead of all-purpose flour, and I added some chopped nuts to the filling.
