Ginger Pineapple Punch / Gingere Ananas image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 piece ginger, (4 inches), fresh
3 cups fresh pineapples, diced
3 tablespoons sugar or more to taste
3 tablespoons lime juice, fresh
4 cups water, cold
Ice, for serving

Steps:

  • 1. Cut the ginger into 1/4-inch slices, then combine with the pineapple, 3 tablespoons sugar, the lime juice, and water in a blender and process until smooth.2. Strain this liquid into a pitcher, pressing the pulp against the strainer with the back of a spoon to extract all the juice. Correct the sweetness, adding more sugar, if desired, then pour into tall glasses over ice and serve immediately.
