Ginger Cookies image

Wrote this recipe down while watching Food Network while recovering from surgery. It was featured in the "Food Network Caters Your Hawaiian Wedding". This was one of Paula Deen's contributions. I love ginger cookies and can't wait until I can get in the kitchen and whip up a batch. They looked SOO good!

I followed the recipe exactly, but my cookies turned out flat and crispy. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my cookies turned out flat and crispy. I'm not sure what went wrong. Maybe I didn't chill the dough long enough?

These cookies were a bit too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved them. I think next time I'll use half the amount of ginger called for in the recipe.

These cookies were okay, but not great. They were a little too dry for my taste, and the ginger flavor was a bit too strong. I might try making them again with some modifications.

I was really excited to try this recipe, but I was disappointed with the results. The cookies were dry and crumbly, and they didn't have much flavor. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I won't be making these cookies again.
