GARLIC LOAF - NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb French loaf bread
6 TBL butter
10-12 cloves garlic, crushed
7 tsp sesame seeds
1 1/2 c sour cream
2 c Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese, cubed
1/4 c grated Parmesan
2 TBL parsley
2 tsp lemon pepper
14-oz can artichoke hearts, drained, chopped
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Cut loaf in half lengthwise and tear out soft center of bread in chunks, leaving crust intact. Put shells on baking sheet covered with foil. Melt butter in large skillet and stir in garlic and sesame seeds. Add bread chunks and cook until golden and butter is absorbed. Remove from heat. Combine sour cream, Jack cheese, Parmesan, parsley, lemon pepper. Stir in artichokes and toasted bread. Mix well and spoon into shells. Sprinkle with cheddar. Bake 350F 30 min.
